Wordgarden — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Wordgarden does not collect your personal data. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The app makes no network requests of its own.
What Wordgarden stores
Everything the app knows about you is created on your device as you learn:
- which words you have met, and the memory strength of each
- your review history, streak, XP, level, achievements and daily challenges
- your favourites
- your settings: theme, daily new-word target, and reminder time
- your Bloom Blitz high score
This is stored on your device. It is not transmitted to us, because there is no “us” to transmit it to — Wordgarden has no server.
iCloud
If iCloud sync is enabled, your learning data syncs through your own private iCloud database so your progress follows you between your devices. That data lives in your Apple account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer cannot see, query or retrieve it.
Purchases
Wordgarden Plus is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether an entitlement is active. Payment details are never seen by, or available to, the app or its developer.
Notifications
Daily reminders are optional and scheduled locally on your device. They are never sent from a server, and the app asks permission before scheduling any.
Children
Wordgarden is safe for all ages: it collects nothing, shows no ads, and contains no user-generated content or messaging.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. If iCloud sync was enabled,
you can additionally remove Wordgarden's iCloud data in
Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new “last updated” date.
